Participative Research

Participative research has been the hallmark of processes which enables documentation of existing conditions and the changes aspired that in an attempt to reach the far fetched goals that a community might aspire, the bond it builds between the community and the organization is immense. Community’s approach to engage in the process itself is a learning opportunity for the researchers wherein new ideas and concepts evolve, some of which may take shape in future. Community Based Action

Community Based Action is the next step on the ladder to demonstrate the possibility of transforming innovations into a physical and social reality. Most often certain issues over the years don’t require intense research but are clearly defined as ‘strategic needs of the community’ by themselves. Another aspect of it is to enable community based organizations in order to transform the process into reality by providing certain skills and channels of access to accomplish it. The whole question is to respond to these strategic needs and how these could be attained. Sometimes the problems are of varying nature which need resolution in terms of strengthening the ‘logic’ about its possibility to happen and could also be in terms of physical and social measures and linkages with possible financing of the activity. Enterprise Development and Servicing

Enterprise Development and Servicing is to respond to the current reality of the economic world and identify sustainable entrepreneurial and occupational niches. While responding to several community issues during the process and as truly mentioned in the above sentence, we also need to develop alternate income generating opportunities in demanding situations and those activities where we have skills to enable the process of localized development - extending activities so conducive to the cultural, environmental and economic needs of the community.
