It’s FEBRUARY 8! Today, tax and gender justice advocates from Asia come together and say MAKE TAXES WORK FOR WOMEN!!

All workers have the right to decent wages, food, water, education, and other quality public services. Women are overrepresented in vulnerable and unstable jobs in the informal sector and are in need of services that address their health, safety, and security needs.

MAKE TAXES WORK FOR WOMEN! INCREASE PUBLIC SPENDING FOR GENDER RESPONSIVE SOCIAL SERVICES AND UPHOLD THE RIGHTS OF WOMEN WORKERS IN THE INFORMAL ECONOMY!
