Ajni Vann is amongst the last green cover of Nagpur spread in 44.4acres of land situated in heart of the city. This lush green cover of Nagpur is ready to face the axe of Inter Modal Station proposed by NHAI. Ajni Vann has a rich biodiversity, is home to many birds, insects, and diverse tree species.
The environmentalists from Nagpur have filed a PIL to shift this project to Khapri location, which is the part of New Nagpur and was the alternate proposed site of this project by NHAI, as mentioned in their proposal received through RTI.
