A couple lost their lives as they came in contact with poisonous gas coming out from an open coal mine at the rajrappa project of the central coalfields limited.
The deceased have been identified as Kameshwar Mahto (40) and his wife Chinta Devi (30).Police said that underground fire was already coming out the three number open mine. As soon as the woman reached on the spot she fell unconscious, to lift his wife the man reached at the spot and he too fell unconscious and both of them died in quick succession.
