In reply to another question asked by Congress MLA Shailesh Parmar, the government stated in a written reply that 10 people died and six others were injured in 27 cases of fire and blasts that occurred in the Ahmedabad district during 2021 and 2022.
In the last two years, at least 152 labourers died in industrial accidents in the three most industrialised districts of Surat, Bharuch, and Ahmedabad in Gujarat, the Assembly was informed Friday.
