In the independent consultancy’s report, Employers and the health of the nation, Health Partners’ chief medical officer, Dr Alasdair Emslie, stated that healthcare is now top of the C-suite agenda.

Emslie noted that as the occupational health sector focuses on working age adults, the adoption of technology is easier as this group are more likely to understand and engage – unlike older people who struggled with the digitalisation of healthcare during Covid-19.
